WHAT WE WANT

FriendFinder Networks is looking for a talented Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for managing project from original concept through final implementation for projects within the DevOps and Infrastructure teams. S/he will oversee multiple projects on an ongoing and regular basis and be responsible for project planning, maintaining project status, project risk mitigation, and issue resolution. S/he will work on developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, communicating project status and issues to team and management. Your contributions will ensure the best possible user experience for everyone who visits our web sites 24 hours a day, every day of the year, all over the world. This position directly reports to the Senior Director of Product Management, with a dot-line report to the CEO and Senior VP of Operation.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage and improve workflow of the Ops team
  • Manage projects assigned to the Ops team
  • Manage and drive special projects of all business areas appointed by the CEO
  • Communicate effectively, foster teamwork, and lead the team towards project delivery
  • Develop project timeline and project cost estimates
  • Prepare project status reports to keep project team, management, and stakeholders informed of project status and issues
  • Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand objectives and prioritize business goals and deliverables related to projects
  • Develop process improvement plans, project documentation, and client facing documentation
  • Will facilitate kickoff and status meetings, documenting meetings notes and posting them on the project board
  • Develop project charters and specifications
  • Update priorities, develop project work schedules, monitor progress towards goals and track details, information, and activities of administrators, engineers, and developers
  • Anticipate delays, identify problems and work pro-actively to minimize impact
  • Work on multiple projects and ensure that the project deliverables are on time at the required level of quality
  • Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items approved by CEO and finance
  • For each purchase, follow company policy to acquire multiple quotes from different vendors; present them to requisitioning department and CEO for final selection; recommend alternatives if needed
  • Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items
  • Obtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
  • Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolve shipping errors with suppliers
  • Authorize payment for purchases by forwarding documentation
  • Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years’ minimum experience in project management
  • Must be comfortable with adult content
  • Must be at least 21 years old

WHAT IS PREFERABLE TO HAVE

  • Strong understanding of Corporate IT and Production web operations are a requirement
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with Agile project management methodology

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills, and ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Able to manage multiple projects at the same time in fast paced environment
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and across departments to sell ideas and manage resources
  • Have a high degree of honesty and integrity
  • Be a team-player, positive attitude and flexible
