PRODUCT MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic product planning and execution. This includes managing the product throughout the product life cycle, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with various teams through the implementation process to ensure products are delivered on time and goals and objectives are achieved.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Develop the business case for the product
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
  • Develop and manage product roadmap for new and existing products
  • Build strategic alliances to facilitate product launches in the market
  • Responsible for P&L; lead strategic analysis, planning, and expected ROI
  • Identify new and existing and existing opportunities
  • Work with teams in remote locations and in different time zones

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors’ degree in computer science and/or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ year of Product Management experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old or older
  • Must be comfortable with adult content
  • 5+ years of experience delivering highly successful and innovative software products
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, while building extensible and scalable solutions
  • You can turn ambiguous problems and big ideas into a roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal guidance
  • Flawless product craft and product intuition; expert in balancing user and business impact as well as short- and long-term impact
  • Build alignment and listen well, but can also drive hard decisions, framing the different options and tradeoffs
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to analyze and use quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions
  • A deep understanding and empathy for end-users — you love building products that make our customers feel joy, delight and trust

WHAT IS PREFERABLE TO HAVE

  • A technical background and/or experience working with large software products
  • Mobile and desktop product development experience is desirable
  • Prior experience with: AB testing, sales funnel optimization, Internet advertising and affiliate marketing, digital marketing, market research, and web analytics (Google Analytics or other)
  • Knowledge of web development and creative design process
  • Prior experience working with teams in remote locations and different time zones

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to Influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Deadline oriented, able to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
  • High degree of honesty and integrity

Salary Range DOE:  $115,000 to $150,000
